Dance can be viewed as both an art form and a professional sport. The physical demands of strength, flexibility, power and endurance can take its toll on a dancer’s body.

In order to monitor the impact of these demands a Dance Wellness Program has been established at the Movement Science Institute. The goal is to promote dancer health and to establish a database of a dancer’s physical data.
